This website tracks Ann (Freeman) Lucchesi’s progress in her treatment for breast cancer.

Treatment Overview

  • 2010
    Diagnosis/Pathology: Infiltrating mammary carcinoma, nuclear grade 3.
    Treatment Plan: Bilateral mastectomy most likely followed by chemotherapy. No radiation therapy is expected.
  • 2003: Stage II A breast cancer
    Diagnosis/Pathology: Ductal carcinoma with microinvasion in left breast. Tumor is <1 mm and 2 sentinel lymph nodes show micrometastatic disease (<2 mm). Tumor is estrogen positive and HER2/neu negative.
    Treatment Plan: Lumpectomy, Chemotheraphy (six cyles of TAC every three weeks), Radiation (six weeks daily), Hormone therapy (five years of Tamoxifen followed by Femara).
