We just talked to Ann’s surgeon, Dr. David P. Winchester, and he gave us the good news that the pathology report is the very best possible. More specifically, the margins of healthy tissue were wide around the 1 mm tumor in her lumpectomy and none of the lymph nodes removed from under her arm showed any cancer.
We expect to send out another, more detailed, email this evening.
